MLE competitors to battle for champion title and $10,000 in prize money

LAS VEGAS (Jan. 31, 2026) – Joey Chestnut, the number-one-ranked competitive eater in the world, will defend his world bagel-eating title against the world’s top-ranked Major League Eating athletes at the fourth-annual Siegel’s Bagelmania World Bagel Eating Championship at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, in Las Vegas.

Major League Eating competitors will return to Las Vegas’ iconic Jewish delicatessen Siegel’s Bagelmania, located at 252 Convention Center Dr., to battle for the championship title and belt as well as a share of $10,000 in prize money.

Last year, Chestnut ate 15 bagels with cream cheese in eight minutes. That matched Chestnut’s prior year’s performance and edged out Patrick Bertoletti who ate 14 ½ bagels and Geoffrey Esper with 13 1/8 bagels. These three top-ranked eaters will be back in Las Vegas for the Jan. 31st event. The full line up of competitive eaters participating in the event include:

  7. Number-ten ranked Derek Hendrickson from Las Vegas, NV
